First time
Daily card or one question?
Choose a practice for this moment.
Use Daily Card for a theme to notice through the day; use One-Card Clarity when you have a specific question now. Both use one card, but the first structures a daily practice and the second focuses a particular reflection.
Daily Card: return to one theme
You do not need to prepare a detailed question for the daily tool. Draw a card, read its theme and choose one small way to notice it. In the evening, return to ask what you observed. The value of this routine is the attention you bring to it, not evidence that the card predicted your day.
Our daily tool keeps the same card in the same browser for the local calendar day. The day changes at midnight according to your device. Clearing browser storage, switching devices or preventing storage may give you another draw. It is not an account-wide synchronised result.
One-Card Clarity: name the question first
The one-question tool begins with a specific question. Keep it focused enough that one image can help you explore it. ‘What should I pay attention to before this conversation?’ is more manageable than asking one card to explain an entire relationship.
Read the card in relation to your words. Note a relevant symbol, one possible interpretation and a small action you can choose. A single card does not provide a verified account of what another person thinks.
Choose by purpose rather than card count
| Feature | Daily Card | One-Card Clarity |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A daily pause | A specific question |
| Practice | Notice a theme, then review the day | Explore a concern and a possible response |
| Useful note | Where did I notice this today? | What does this suggest I should consider? |
For a beginner, the daily ritual can make it easier to learn one card at a time. If a concrete concern is interrupting your day, the question-based tool may give the reflection a clearer boundary. Neither format needs to become a repeated search for the answer you hope to receive.
Keep useful notes, with realistic privacy expectations
Save a short observation rather than a prediction. Compare your initial interpretation with what you actually noticed. Over time this can help you recognise your own associations and distinguish them from traditional card meanings.
Saved reflections in these tools are held in your browser. Other people using that browser may see them; clearing browser data may remove them. Use the available copy or print options if you want your own separate record, and avoid storing sensitive details on a shared device.
Questions & answers
Do I need a question for the daily card?
No. The daily practice starts with a theme for your day. One-Card Clarity is the separate experience for a specific question.
Why did my daily card change on another device?
The daily card is saved in the current browser, not synchronised across devices or accounts.
Does an uncomfortable card mean something bad will happen?
No. Treat the image as a reflection prompt, not proof of an event. Connect it to what you can observe and choose.
The cards are a mirror, not a cage. These guides invite you to explore the symbols with curiosity and make room for your own choices. Read our boundaries or ask about the service.
