Materials & dimensions
Printed on substantial 400gsm coated cardstock, the cards pair quality paper with richly detailed ocean fantasy artwork.
Deep blues, turquoise and warm golden tones bring coral gardens, crystal caverns, underwater palaces and marine life into view. Light filtering through the water gives the illustrations an atmosphere of mystery and wonder.
The illustrated card backs and mermaid-themed storage box complete the ocean-inspired design. The box features a separate lift-off lid and keeps your cards together between readings.

Questions
-
Question: How many cards are in this, and is it tarot?
Answer: 46 cards, and it is an oracle deck rather than tarot. There are no suits and no major arcana sequence — the cards work as reflective prompts, which is also why the count is different from our 78-card tarot decks.
-
Question: I already have a tarot deck. Is there a reason to add this, or is it the same thing?
Answer: It is a different kind of deck: tarot uses a structured card system, while this 46-card oracle offers English titles and printed reflective messages. You can use one oracle card after a tarot spread as an optional prompt for journaling.
-
Question: My order arrived with 46 cards. Did I get a short deck?
Answer: 46 cards is the complete set listed for this deck. If you want help checking the contents of an order, email thefool@worldofthefool.com with the order number and relevant details.
