Materials & dimensions
Printed on substantial 400gsm coated cardstock, the cards combine quality paper with detailed gothic illustrations.
A predominantly black-and-white palette, layered grey shading and vintage-inspired details create a dramatic visual style. Skulls, ravens, crowned figures and ceremonial imagery appear throughout the deck, while English card titles sit within decorative banners.
The symmetrical card backs feature intricate botanical ornamentation and circular celestial motifs. An illustrated storage box with a separate lift-off lid carries the same gothic aesthetic and keeps your cards together between readings.

What this policy covers
This shipping policy applies only to physical products. Personalized readings are custom-tailored digital PDF reports sent to the email address provided at checkout; they are not shipped as parcels and have no shipping charge. Standard digital delivery is within 24 hours when all information needed for the reading is provided at checkout. See our Refund Policy for digital delivery and cancellation details.
Origin and timing
Physical products ship from China. Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days after payment. Delivery usually takes 7–14 business days after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed dates.
Standard shipping
Standard shipping costs USD 7 for orders below USD 99. Orders of USD 99 or more qualify for free standard shipping. Available destinations and the final shipping charge are shown at checkout.

Physical products
You may request a return within 14 days of receipt. This is our standard return request period for all customers. Opened packaging is accepted. The buyer pays ordinary return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, or applicable law requires otherwise. Contact thefool@worldofthefool.com with your order number for return instructions before sending an item.
For damage, wrong items or missing items, contact us with the order number and relevant details or photos. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund, replacement or reshipment. Your legal remedies are not limited to a partial refund.

Question: The dimensions weren't obvious to me — are these standard size or the small ones?
Answer: Standard size: 7 × 12 cm per card, and the illustrated box is 8.1 × 13.1 × 4.6 cm. If you have bought tarot before, this is the size you are picturing.

Question: Is everything in English, including the guidebook?
Answer: The cards have English titles and a guidebook is included. The current description presents the guidebook as a starting point for learning the cards, but does not specify its language. Contact Mira before ordering if you need that confirmed.

Question: I'm a beginner. Does "shadow work" mean this deck is only for heavy topics?
Answer: Not at all. Shadow work here means giving attention to the parts of a situation you would rather not look at yet — that can be a work decision as easily as a difficult feeling. The vintage gothic artwork sets a reflective tone, and beginners are welcome; start with one card and a journal rather than a large spread.
